The Joint Robotics Laboratory (Website : http://jrl.cnrs.fr) is an International Research Laboratory, IRL 3218 of the French National Scientific Research Centre (CNRS) and the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), located in Tsukuba, Japan. Launched in 2003 and IRL since 2008, it develops the autonomy of robots, particularly for humanoids.
Its sixty-odd members work on hardware design, planning, control, perception, human-robot interaction and software platforms, and collaborate with some twenty regular partners in Japan, France and beyond, in immersive teleoperation, industrial loco-manipulation and assistive robotics.
