Optimization Technique for Performance driven Cell Generator

Abstract

The authors present in this paper the definition of explicit sizing laws allowing fast optimization of data paths. Validation of these laws is obtained with respect to a mathematical global optimization method (Rosenbrock's method). A example of application to real data paths is given by integration of these sizing facilities in to a flexible cell generator.
