AUV Control Architecture for Control Management of Embedded Instrumentation

Abstract : The need to operate in deep water and to perform simultaneously several scientific tasks, leads AUV software control to be designed according to modularity and evolutionarity aims. A software control architecture applied to the AUV TAIPAN is presented. Instrumentation conflicts problem on underwater vehicles is introduced and a solution is proposed.
