Intraoperative Ultrasound-based Augmented Reality Guidance

Abstract

This paper presents an ultrasound-based augmented reality framework for minimally invasive surgery. We achieved high accuracy in each calibration step. The frame-work was evaluated by localizing a hidden target in a soft tissue phantom.
