Crypto-Compression Using TEA's Algorithm and a RLC Compression

Abstract : In this paper, we discuss the secure of transfering of medical images. We propose two cryptosystems, the first one is a very fast algorithm by block, the TEA (Tiny Encryption Algo- rithm) and the second is a stream cipher based on Vigenere’s ciphering. We show differences existing between them, especially concerning the combination of the image encryption and the compression. Results applied to medical images are given to illustrate the two methods.
