A Path Sensitization Approach for Performance Optimization

Abstract

Circuit path identification is one of the fundamental step in analyzing the circuit performance as well as in applying optimization alternatives. Comparison between path enumeration algorithms is presented here together with sensitization criterion to solve the false path problem, considering real delays. Applications are given on ISCAS '85 benchmarks to give evidence of DFS search method with prunning to detect quickly real paths.
